After initially arresting Shawn Bailey in connection with the murder of an Indiana woman, authorities have determined he was framed and have charged another suspect with the crime.
Bailey was arrested following the April 14 murder of 35-year-old Wilma Robertson, who was found stabbed to death in her home in Hanover, Indiana, according to the Jefferson County Prosecutor’s Office.
However, subsequent DNA analysis cleared Bailey, 33, of Louisville, Kentucky, as a suspect, leading to his release and the dropping of charges against him.
