Police in Queens, New York, say a man has been meeting women on Instagram, taking them out on first dates, asking to use their phones — and then running off with them.
Investigators say the same alleged scam happened at least twice, including one case involving an 18-year-old and another involving a 26-year-old woman. Neither woman was physically injured, and police have released surveillance images as they work to identify the suspect.
