Mom Pushed From 15th Floor While Holding Her Baby — The Child Survived

A 23-year-old Bronx mother died after police say she was pushed from a 15th-floor balcony while holding her 8-month-old daughter. Nathaly Ramirez’s baby survived the fall, and investigators believe the way Ramirez held onto her may have helped cushion the impact.

Police identified Ramirez’s ex-boyfriend and the child’s father, Angel Carrasco, in connection with the case. Authorities say there was a documented history of domestic violence, and Carrasco has reportedly been apprehended by U.S. Marshals.
Nathaly was just 23 years old.
