On January 4, 2024, the usually peaceful streets of Perry, Iowa were overcome by a chilling winter morning. Ahmir Jolliff, an enthusiastic 11-year-old known as "Smiley", left his home with excitement for school. Little did anyone know, this would be the last time they saw Ahmir before his tragic death.
